Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Mechanical Construction Projects: Manage the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with project teams, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and timely project delivery.
- Budget and Schedule Management: Oversee project budgets and schedules, ensuring all resources are allocated effectively and work stays on track.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring that they adhere to quality standards and timelines.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Problem-Solving and Risk Management: Identify potential challenges early and develop effective solutions to keep the project moving forward without compromising quality or safety.
- Exposure to Cutting-Edge Projects: Gain hands-on experience managing mechanical systems for Data Centers, EV Battery Plants, and other high-profile, innovative projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: A Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other construction-related degree is preferred. We’re also open to candidates with relevant construction management degrees or equivalent experience.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in mechanical project management, specifically in HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems for large commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and motivate teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project success.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Industry Experience: Experience in Data Centers or EV Battery Plants is a huge plus, but we’ll train you if you’re passionate about these sectors.
- Project Management Expertise: Proven experience managing large, complex projects and delivering them on time and within budget.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to identify problems early and provide practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Proficiency with Project Management Software: Familiarity with tools like Procore, Buildertrend, or similar software is preferred.
