Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Associate Project Manager (APM) to join our growing team in Nashville. In this role, you will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing mechanical projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers in the overall execution of mechanical projects, from initiation to completion.
- Assist in developing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, track changes, and manage documentation.
- Identify and resolve project risks and issues in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct site visits to oversee project activities and ensure quality standards are met.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in mechanical project management or a similar role.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, or industrial equipment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar).
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols.
- PMP certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
