Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to support the management of large-scale mechanical projects within a fast-paced construction environment. The ideal candidate will act as an Assistant Project Manager, assisting in overseeing project planning, coordination, execution, and delivery while ensuring compliance with budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and coordinating mechanical project activities, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
• Support project managers in planning, budgeting, and scheduling of mechanical systems installations.
• Oversee design reviews, submittals, and material procurement for projects.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, specifications, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other project teams, subcontractors, and clients to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor field construction activities and assist with site coordination.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
• Support project managers with project cost control, including tracking labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical systems design, construction, or project management.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, systems, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
