Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical Construction

We’re seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team and work on cutting-edge commercial projects such as data centers, hospitals, and pharmaceutical facilities in Sterling, VA. • Salary Range: $80,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing) for large commercial projects from the ground up.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to keep projects on track.
• Help manage budgets, track costs, and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to field teams to ensure smooth and effective project execution.

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of experience in construction, preferably with mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing).
• College degree in construction required. A Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering degree is preferred, but relevant experience is also considered.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and interest in further developing expertise in this area.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• A growth mindset and desire to take on increasing responsibilities in the construction field.
