Our client, a premier law firm, seeks an attorney to join their Workers’ Compensation practice.

Schedule - Hybrid 3 / 2

Billable Hours – None

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on workers' compensation laws and regulations
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs related to workers'

compensation claims

  • Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings before the New York

    • State Workers' Compensation Board

  • Maintain communication with clients to provide updates and counsel throughout the claims

    • process

  • Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and settlement agreements
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and negotiations to advocate for clients' interests
  • Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and document requests
  • Assist in preparing cases for trial, including witness preparation and trial strategy

    • Qualifications :

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice law in the state of New York
  • 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law
