Job Description:

As an Event Laborer at Diamond Point Catering Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless preparing of our Events from beginning to end this including tent set up, load and unloading, chair set ups, rental set ups, event set up/breakdown and transporting/service of our delectable culinary creations to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Food Delivery:Safely and timely transport food orders from our kitchen to various event venues or clients' locations.
Ensure the secure packaging and handling of food to maintain quality and presentation during transport.
Follow predetermined delivery routes and schedules to guarantee timely deliveries.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.

Service Excellence:Assist with the setup and breakdown of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, and food service equipment.
Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests and inquiries.
Ensure food presentation is consistent with our company's high standards.

Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies during food deliveries.
Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the delivery vehicle and equipment.
Handle food with care to prevent contamination and adhere to food safety regulations.

Team Collaboration:Work closely with the catering team, chefs, and event planners to ensure smooth coordination of events.
Communicate effectively with team members to achieve a high level of service efficiency.
Assist in keeping inventory of catering supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must be over 21 with clean driving record!!
• Prior experience in food delivery and/or event service is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Physical ability to lift and carry moderate loads and stand for extended periods.
