What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Warehouse Picker position at Diamond Ridge Construction?
The Warehouse Picker is responsible for timely movement of parts from incoming material into the plant to shipment of finished product out of the plant and various movements within the plant. Most transactions must be accomplished by a scanner and safe use of all material moving vehicles is required.

- Unload and Receive in product via company’s software system and scanners.
- Put away various product into storage with use of proper forklift, knowledge of locations, and scanners.
- Pick parts for shipping and Assembly utilizing various forklifts and scanners for smalls, narrows, and wides.
- Respond to Andon system when utilizing Andon system equipped forklifts.
- Perform “spider” duties of grouping like parts for assembly orders.
- Put back into stock excess stock.
- Load Trucks for items to ship daily. (Box trucks, Flat Bed trucks, Straight Trucks)
- Performs cycle counts as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma.
- Prior warehousing experience and use of RFI scanners.
- Experience on Sit Down, Stand Up, and Turret Forklifts.
- Basic Computer skills.
