What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Designer- FC position at Diamond Ridge Construction?
This is a 100% on-site role. Remote work is not available for this position. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship requirements.
We are seeking a Structural Designer to join our growing team! specializing in significant industrial facility projects.
Responsibilities:
- Create intricate structural drawings for steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
- Take the lead in crafting design sections of assessment reports.
- Ensure the quality of drafts produced by colleagues.
- Formulate and implement new technology applications for both existing and emerging tools.
- Provide technical guidance to less experienced drafters.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Drafting, Architecture or Design, preferred.
- Previous experience in a Drafting or Designer role.
- Experience with AutoCAD. (ONLY 3D)
- Experience with Bluebeam, Advanced Steel and knowledge of design codes preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
