**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for young children. The ToddlerTeacher will be responsible for teaching and caring for children from 18 months to 2 years of age, providing them with a foundation for lifelong learning.
**Responsibilities:**
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote the cognitive, social, and emotional development of preschoolers.
- Create and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to each child's unique needs and abilities.
- Establish and maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that supports learning and exploration.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a sense of community and trust.
- Provide high-quality childcare, including infant and toddler care, and create opportunities for children to engage in play-based learning.
- Collaborate with other educators to ensure consistency and alignment with program goals and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, including daily reports, attendance, and assessments.
- Administer first aid as needed and ensure the health and safety of all children in the classroom.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in early childhood education, particularly in areas of special education and childhood development.
**Experience:**
- Previous experience working with preschoolers, including experience with children with special needs.
- Proven ability to manage a classroom environment effectively, including classroom management and babysitting experience.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development and the ability to create engaging and challenging lesson plans.
- Familiarity with first aid and the ability to administer it as needed.
- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field or a current CDA.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
