Introduction:
We are seeking a Hydro Excavation Fleet Manager is responsible for ensuring that the company's hydrovac fleet is well-maintained, operated safely and efficiently, and compliant with all applicable regulations.
Responsibilities:

Manage the budget and financial performance of the company, including setting goals and monitoring results

Develop and implement strategies for growth and success, including identifying new opportunities and improving existing processes

Lead and motivate a team of employees, including setting performance expectations, providing training and development, and managing employee relations

Oversee the operations of the business, including ensuring that policies and procedures are followed and that all necessary resources are available

Monitor market trends and adapt to changing business needs
-
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
· Review all paperwork daily to double check for accuracy.
· Compare daily timesheets to billable work hours every day before submittal to front office.
· Approve all time off requests.
· Utilize his people in other parts of the business when needed, when there is no work or truck / equipment is down for repair.
· Plan and schedule PM and repairs when needed.
· Working on getting additional work outside of WG / NPL to increase workload.
· Enforce employees’ work hours.
· Enforce drivers to call in when their job is complete.
· Drivers fulfill their requirements when weather permits, loads are dumped every day if dump is still open, if all is done in under 8 hours they can be utilized in other parts of the business. If they choose to only work a partial day because of the hours received, we pay them port to port.
· Increase your visibility in the field and with the customer, more inspections and observations on the jobsite.
· Support DOT safety, driver log used correctly, and addressing and correcting truck / equipment safety issues immediately.
· Support corrective and disciplinary actions when needed. Work with our customer to get a better system for ordering and requesting services in a better and timely manner.
