The Position :
We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Platform / Full Stack to join our roster and play a pivotal role on the Product team. Reporting to the VP, Engineering, this position will lead the development of our Grandstand streaming platform. In this role you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing complex software solutions that drive our business forward.
The Game Plan : What you will do)
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and maintainable full stack web applications using modern technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and stakeholders, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Node.js, leveraging it to build scalable and efficient server-side applications.
- Design and implement APIs to support both internal and external applications.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate APIs with various internal and third-party systems / services.
- Work with databases and GraphQL to design and optimize data models for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain applications in production environments.
- Participate in the continuous integration and delivery (CI / CD) pipeline for automated testing and deployment.
- Implement and advocate for testing best practices, including unit, integration, end-to-end and load testing.
- Ensure code quality and participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards.
