Labor Crew Member

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled General Laborer to join our team at Diamond T Services, Inc. This role involves performing various site and facility operational duties as assigned. The successful candidate will be responsible for general maintenance and safe operation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hand-held mowing equipment and other necessary tools.
• Follow site safety and operating procedures.
• Dig trenches and backfill holes in preparation for construction sites.
• Remove litter and dispose of it properly.
• Identify hazards in the right-of-way for the mowing team.
• Comply with instructions from construction managers and supervisors.
• Loading and unloading materials.
• Clean the construction site by removing hazards, materials, and debris.
• Taking apart or constructing matting, bracing, and other temporary structures for the construction site.
• Assist fellow workers with their duties when needed.
• Maintain operations in accordance with corporate policies and within permit conditions.
• Report on incidents and participate in investigations as directed.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently ascend and descend ladders and stairs.
• Lift and carry 55 pounds.
• Operate heavy tools and equipment day and night.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 1 year experience in construction is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required.
• A valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• Capacity to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold depending on location.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbally.
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills are required.
