Experienced Retail Security Officer
Diamond Touch Security (DTS) is hiring experienced SECURITY OFFICERS with loss prevention experience and de-escalation training for a new retail store opening in Buckhead, GA.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a security guard with customer service experience.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
- Integrity and professionalism.
- Must be able to stand without any issues for long periods.
- Must maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality.
- Must be serious and willing to work.
- Must be professionally dressed at all times.
- Must be reliable and dependable even if utilizing public transportation.
- Must satisfactorily pass all pre-employment screening and background check.
- Must have a high school diploma and/or GED.
- IMMEDIATE HIRE IF QUALIFIED!
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor and must remain attentive and proactive while on duty.
- Have a positive attitude during your shift.
- Greet customers as they enter the store.
- Protect the client's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
- Knowledge of general legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
- Basic loss prevention and recovery skills.
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents.
- Monitor and control access at the store entrance.
