What are the responsibilities and job description for the Color Match position at Diamond Vogel?
Diamond Vogel has a full-time position open in their Color Match department in Burlington, IA. We are looking for an individual who has computer skills and an “eye for color” to join our Color Match team. The right candidate will be able to complete customer orders by tinting paint to match customer-requested colors. The candidate will also be involved in completing pour-overs of paint to different package sizes. On-the-job training will develop the specific operational skills needed to be successful in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
· Checking for new computer orders daily, keeping track of orders completed
· Completing orders by tinting paint to customer color specifications
by specified due dates
· Completing paperwork for each order as required, ensuring customer needs are met
· Pouring over stock paint into other package sizes as needed
· Running a forklift as needed
· Keeping a clean and tidy workspace
Requirements:
· Ability to work safely without constant supervision
· Willingness to work as part of a team, able to work in harmony with coworkers and those in other departments
· A self-starter, able to be flexible to perform assigned duties
· Ability to display basic math aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and good attention to detail
The standard work week for this position is Monday through Thursday with some overtime on Friday’s. The rate of pay for this position is $18.25 per hour; there are raises at 60 days and 6 months of employment.
