Liquid Paint Production - 1st Shift

Diamond Vogel Paint has an opening in Liquid Paint Production. Primary duties are operating equipment and completing job requirements to produce high quality paint products. These duties will involve several areas, including:

· Following batch formula instructions

· Measuring and weighing raw materials

· Metering solvents and resins

· Lifting, cutting, and emptying 50 lb. bags

· Operate mixing and milling equipment

· Housekeeping duties

· Various duties as assigned

This position will offer the individual satisfaction of producing a quality, finished product. The ideal candidate will be able to safely work without constant supervision, will be a self-starter, work as part of a team, and be flexible to perform duties assigned to them. Basic math aptitude, good organizational skills, and attention to detail are necessary.

Candidates must understand and accept their role in ensuring that customer needs are met. They must be willing and able to work in harmony with co-workers and employees from other departments. On-the-job training will develop the specific operational skills needed to perform the job.
