Diamond Vogel has a full time position in their Production Department for a Machine Operator at their Menomonee Falls, WI, location. Job duties include operating paint making control systems. Equipment used includes HSD’s, pumps, and valves. The right candidate will be able to operate packaging equipment such as robotics, filling machines, case packers, labelers, etc. Part of the position includes monitoring quality or product in manufacturing and packaging areas to include OTMIS (off the mill in spec), cycles, fill levels, package appearance, fill weights, and raw material certificate of analysis. Ability to read and follow instructions in all areas of the production floor, manufacturing, packaging, shipping, and receiving is a must. This position also includes participating in housekeeping activities that are indicative of a safe and clutter-free work environment.
This position requires accuracy & detail, and a lifting requirement of 50 lbs. Must be able to work in a team-oriented atmosphere. An understanding of equipment & any production process experience is helpful. On-the-job training will help develop the specific skills needed. 1st shift hours of position are 5:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday. Overtime varies on Fridays.
