Material Handler - 1st Shift

Diamond Vogelhas a full-time position at their Menomonee Falls facility for a Material Handler. The right candidate for this position will:

· Operate industrial forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse.

· Electronically record material moves to warehouse locations, print stickers and electronically record Purchase Order receipts using QAD/RF.

· As needed, recharge batteries, change propane gas tanks, and fill battery cells.

· Load and unload raw materials to and from designated areas.

· Practice safety and security rules/regulations to avoid equipment and dock hazards as defined in operating instructions.

· Maintain clean & orderly housekeeping practices in warehouse area.

· Must be willing to work any shift or overtime hours as needed including Saturday and Sunday.

· Report all safety hazards/conditions to Production Supervisor or Lead Person.

· Report raw material shortages to Production Supervisor, Lead Person.

· Must be certified to operate a forklift, will be certified on the job.

· Must be able to do all material handling jobs on assigned shift per the standard operating procedures.

· Must have basic computer knowledge.

· Help with inventory control and assist with year-end and daily cycle counts as needed.

Skills and training desired: High School graduate is preferred. Previous material handling experience required. Starting pay is based on experience. Able to pull, carry, or lift 50 pounds frequently and 50-100 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation.

This position is for 1st shift Monday through Thursday, hours are 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. Overtime varies for Fridays.
