What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler - 2nd Shift position at Diamond Vogel?
Diamond Vogelhas a full-time position at Menomonee Falls facility for a Material Handler. The right candidate for this position will:
· Operate industrial forklifts (will be forklift certified on the job) to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse.
· Electronically record material moves to warehouse locations, print stickers and electronically record Purchase Order receipts using QAD/RF.
· As needed, recharge batteries, change propane gas tanks, and fill battery cells.
· Load and unload raw materials to and from designated areas.
· Practice safety and security rules/regulations to avoid equipment and dock hazards as defined in operating instructions.
· Maintain clean and orderly housekeeping practices in warehouse area.
· Must be willing to work any shift or overtime hours as needed including Saturday and Sunday.
· Report all safety hazards/conditions and raw material shortages to Production Supervisor or Lead Person.
· Must be able to accomplish all material handling jobs on assigned shift per the standard operating procedures.
· Help with inventory control, assist with year-end and daily cycle counts when needed.
Skills and training desired: High School graduate, previous material handling experience required. Starting pay is based on experience. Able to pull, carry, or lift 50 pounds frequently and 50-100 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation is required.
This position is for 2nd shift Monday through Thursday, hours are 3:00 pm to 1:30 am. Overtime varies for Fridays.
