What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Technician position at Diamond Vogel?
Diamond Vogel has full-time position in their Quality Department for a Quality Assurance Technician at their Menomonee Falls, WI, location.
Job duties will include:
- Verification of tanker truck deliveries.
- Follow all standard technical procedures, exercise good judgment and initiatives.
- Must have the ability to carry out line inspections, i.e. crimp height, correct can labels, box labels, correct date code, correct tip and valves.
- Follow appropriate raw material test methods and may file related paperwork. Gather, stock, and manage product retain area.
- Ability to learn and understand the techniques of aerosols and coatings.
- May help determine disposition of non-compliant finished goods, such as first case/last case.
- Support the ISO Management Systems and Safety Systems.
- Maintain lab housekeeping and clean all test equipment.
- Identify and communicate product issues to other departments as needed.
- May assist in training and mentoring of other lab techs as needed.
This position requires accuracy and detail and has a lifting requirement of 50 lbs. Must be able to work in a team-oriented atmosphere. Candidates must have previous manufacturing experience. 1st shift hours of the position are 5:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday. Overtime varies on Fridays.
