Diamond Vogel is seeking a chemist to join the Architectural Coatings Research and Development Team. Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in the sciences is required (with coursework in chemistry)
- Previous lab experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Displays an inquisitive attitude; shows self-starter capabilities
The position will be given on-the-job training to achieve the following:
- prepare liquid coating samples, perform physical and analytical tests with minimum supervision
- maintain accurate records of test results and observations
- communicate observations and related data both verbally and in written form
