We are seeking a dynamic person to join our leadership team as an Assisted Living Coordinator in our Detroit Lakes, MN location.
This person will ensure that the hiring, onboarding, and training processes are effectively managed. Ensure that sites have adequate staffing to meet resident needs. Manage the Life Enrichment activities prompting staff as necessary to complete daily Life Enrichment Activities. This position is primarily day shift Monday- Friday day shift however this person must have the ability to be on an on call rotation.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that all applicants are responded to in a timely manner.
Anticipate immediate and future staffing needs.
Coordinate the interview process involving the RN as needed.
Ensure that all staff are set up for proper training videos, and that they are completed in a timely manner.
Monitor training videos and annual education to ensure it is completed timely.
Coordinate floor training with new employees, ensure they are comfortable in the training process.
Coordinate skills test out with RN/LPN.
Produce monthly schedule for staff and keep up to date with all changes.
Communicate any concerns of call in’s to RN/LPN.
Place Medline and other orders.
Produce monthly activity calendar.
Complete activity assessments as needed.
Ensure completion of timely room turnovers.
Regular and consistent attendance required.
Ensure all residents have Life Enrichment calendar, menu, and monthly newsletter.
Requirements:
Time Management, the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Strong customer service orientation.
Must have strong communication and negotiation skills to work with staff and supervisors.
Strong team player.
Must thrive in a team work setting
Commitment to company values.
Computer proficiency.
Qualifications:
Customer service experience preferred.
At least 2 years in long term health care preferred.
Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge.
Driver's License preferred.

Pay Range:
Based on experience, $20 to $23 per hour
Earn $2/hr for shift differential on NOC.
