Responsibilities:
All aspects of meal preparation, clean-up, and general upkeep of the kitchen and dining room.
Prepares preparation of regular and special diet foods according to prescribed menus and recipes.
Follows established schedules in cooking, baking, sanitation, and related activities
Determines proper cooking time and temperature.
Cleans and sanitizes all food preparation equipment and ensures that it is kept in safe and operable condition.
Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service.
Adheres to weekly menus
Qualifications:
SERVSAFE certification or willing to obtain upon hiring.
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Must demonstrate the ability to work under the director of the Kitchen Manager or Assistant Administrator
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
