POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1 year of experience with prep, sanding, wet sanding, and buffing is required
- At least 1 year of experience painting on a variety of surfaces to include aluminum, fiberglass, smooth, and various rough surfaces
PREFERRED SKILLS
- At least 2 years of experience painting a variety of surfaces to include aluminum, fiberglass, smooth and rough surfaces is preferred
- Reliable, detail orientated, and self-motivated
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders
- Ability to work within aggressive schedules and deadlines
- Forklift certification is preferred
CORE DUTIES
- Clean surfaces prior to layering paint
- Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order
- Safely disposing of chemical waste
- Ensure that PPE such as painting goggles are used
- Utilizing different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface
- Assist in other departments as needed
- Driving to get paint as needed
HOURS
- 1st shift position
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Overtime as needed
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
