Job Duties And Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
- Develop recommendations for asset development plans that are supported by data and economic analysis
- Recommend collection of reservoir data as appropriate to evaluate reservoirs and enhance future exploitation
- Evaluate well performance using standard and advanced techniques
- Monitor company and offset results. Capture data and analyze results on a continual basis and make recommendations to enhance ongoing asset development
- Complete reserve calculations, production forecasts, and budgeting for assets
- Prepare economic assessments on capital projects and prepare periodic technical reviews
- Evaluate acquisition and property trade opportunities on an as needed basis
- Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering discipline
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a reservoir, drilling, completions, or production engineer
- Adept with economic analysis software (Aries and Spotfire preferred), MS Office Suite, and data analytics tools
- Proficient in reserve estimation
- Demonstrated communication, teamwork, and project management skills
- Experience in developing unconventional assets within the Permian Basin
- Aries and Spotfire software experience preferred
- Motivated self-starter capable of performing with minimal supervision
- Registered and Licensed Professional Engineer
- Basic programming knowledge
