A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HVAC MECHANICAL DISPATCHER

In this dispatch role, you keep our business running smoothly by providing support for our customers and service technicians. You manage our inbound calls and are skilled at prioritizing multiple requests. You maintain the service technicians' daily and on-call schedules, dispatch the technicians as service calls are completed, and proactively resolve problems with a focus on the customer service our company is known for.

You are always on top of things, promptly scheduling return trips with customers when parts come in. You're highly organized and consistently keep our customer database up to date. Committed to providing excellent customer service, you excel at keeping an open line of clear and concise communication between department managers, employees, and company customers. You take great pride in the role you play on our team and find satisfaction in helping clients receive the help they need!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN HVAC MECHANICAL DISPATCHER

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Proficiency with computers
• Experience answering a multi-line telephone system
• Geographical knowledge of our service area
• Great map reading skills
• Ability to accommodate on-call dispatching duties
• Willingness to comply with our company policy regarding background checks and drug screening

Industry experience would be a plus but is not required. Prior dispatch experience and experience using Housecall Pro (or another dispatching software) would also be advantageous. WORK SCHEDULE

This position works Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with weekend and afternoon on-call rotations.
