Job Description Infosys is seeking a Mainframe, Java, C# and Communication Protocol (TCP / IP, VTAM) support representative - This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, Design and Support (L2, L3); play an important role in support activities related to implementation, transition, warranty and documentation. Candidate can work from Richardson (TX) / Piscataway (NJ). This position will require relocation and or travel to project location
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4-10 years of experience in Information Technology.
Experience in Mainframes (Cobol, DB2, IMS, CICS, Compilers / Terminal Emulation), Java (Java, JSP), C#, Communication Protocol(TCP, VSAM), C
Preferred Qualifications :
At least 4 years of experience in support / development, mostly home grown Middleware services
At least 4 years of experience in Mainframes (Cobol, IMS, CICS) and working on terminals and communication protocols
At least 4 years of experience in Java programming with ability to maintain legacy JSP pages.
At least 4 years of experience in C# programming with ability to support and debug code.
At least 4 years of experience in Asynchronous Messaging, O / S (z / OS, Unix, Linux), Metakey, Authentication & Encryption, Data Formatting (ASCII, EBCDIC), Realtime Message Tracing, Webservices and MQ
Should be a fast learner and ability to understand legacy systems which act as APIGEE services.
Excellent analytical skills in troubleshooting issues, as a middleware system there are above 100 interfaces sending and receiving messages.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in team in diverse / multiple stakeholder environment
Experience in Telecommunication domain is a plus
Analytical and problem solving skills, troubleshooting abilities
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
