Scheduling Supervisor
Diamonds and Pearls Health Services is a community based home health care agency located in Beachwood, OH. We provide comprehensive skilled and unskilled nursing and personal care services to home bound clients in N.

Position Summary :
Supervises all functions of the scheduling department. Schedules for all HHA / PCA / STNA cases, functions as a liaison between clients and staff.
Maintains and QA's all necessary program required documentation needed to facilitate care. Must be detail-oriented and computer literate in Word / Word Perfect or comparable software.
Education :
Experience in office management or home health care.
Key Responsibilities and Duties :
1 Provides Direct supervision to the scheduling department.
2 Functions as liaison with clinical department to ensure compliance
4 Assist with in-service documentation for employees per Agency policies
5 Assist with up-keep of employee files as related to the programs the Agency is servicing
6 Researches and inputs all incoming scheduling related documentation and forwards to payroll, clinical and re-imbursement departments
7 Keeps payroll and re-imbursement departments informed of possible errors that would have an effect on the accuracy of their documentation
8 Maintains Daily client and employee schedules for the agency
9 Collaborates with other members of the organizational management team
10 Provides direct support, interview of, evaluation and supervision to paraprofessional
11 Evaluates scheduling staff informally and formally with written performance appraisals upon completion of their probationary period and on an annual basis
12 Provides leadership and consultation to the office support staff
13 Instructs clients and caregivers according to the individualizes plan of care
14 Provides on call coverage as needed and keeps current accurate documentation of calls taken
