Home Health Aide Director of Nursing Exempt
Job Summary
• Provides for the personal care needs of the patient as designated on home health aide plan of care. Personal care duties including but not limited to: Personal hygiene and care patient mobility, elimination and nutrition.
• Submits to the organization complete documentation within established time parameters.
• Performs household duties within the boundaries of the personal care policies and procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean patient environment
• Reports changes in the patients condition and needs in a timely fashion.
General Accountabilities
• Assists with daily activities at individual’s home.
• Performs tasks including but not limited to making beds, doing laundry, preparing meals, washing dishes, ironing, cleaning, bathing, dressing, etc.
• Purchases and prepares meals and groceries for individual.
• Helps patient up and down stairs, in and out of bed, etc.
• Administers oral medication written under doctor prescription.
• Accompanies ambulatory patients outside of home.
• Entertains patient by reading, talking, listening to individual, upon request.
• Visits several households to provide similar daily care.
• Educated family about status/health of individual being cared for.

Job Qualifications
• Education: High School or GED required. The candidate must experienced in caring for the geriatric population in a health care related setting preferred.
• Experience: At least 1 years of related experience
