Description : JOB SUMMARY :
Oversees the operation of the vault and all its functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Maintains accurate accountability for all funds assigned.
- Maintains daily shift paperwork in accordance with company policy, procedures and state gaming regulations.
- Follows all proper policy and procedures as stipulated by the casino and by the Cage Department.
- Tracks and investigates all overages and shortages.
- Works with other departments to ensure enforcement and adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as to ensure compliance to the policies of local, state and federal regulations.
- Services all casino departments.
- Maintains key control.
- Thorough knowledge, understanding and implementation of Title 31.
- Aware of all promotions (i.e., redemption procedures / limitations / restrictions, etc.).
- Handles change transactions, EZ pay ticket cash outs, check and credit card transactions for all areas.
- Verifies all funds in cage drawer at the end of cage cashier’s shift.
- Works well with others and is a team player.
- Responsible for insuring that the ATM is up and running, including filling it; loading paper, call-ing for service when it is down.
- Responsible for insuring that the Kiosk is up and running, including filling it and resolving any dispenser errors.
- Ensures that all business surfaces (i.e., counter-top) are cleaned during shift.
- Responsible for Cashing checks; servicing customers, and following the departmental procedures for both.
- Answering phones with greeting and name.
- Knowledge of Soft Count and Hard Count
- Knowledge of Central Credit.
- Pit fills.
- Jackpots and fills.
- Additional duties, assignments or priorities as directed by Management.
Requirements :
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and / or Experience : Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills : Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to solve practical problems, and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or scheduled form.
