JOB SUMMARY:
The Cage/Vault Manager oversees daily operations, ensuring all fund transactions are executed properly and all cash and equivalents are accounted for through accurate reconciliation, with support from the Controller.

- Oversee Operations: Manage daily activities in the Cage/Vault department, adhering to company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Staffing and Customer Satisfaction: Ensure adequate staffing levels, customer satisfaction, and precise transaction accounting.
- Schedule Management: Create work schedules to meet guest demand and cover unexpected absences.
- Financial Reporting: Review, analyze, and account for all cash variances promptly.
- Policy Compliance: Collaborate with department managers to enforce adherence to company policies and relevant regulations.
- Supervise Staff: Monitor and evaluate subordinate employees' work to ensure compliance with management standards.
- Policy Enforcement: Enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Policy Development: Recommend operational policies and procedures for Cage/Vault operations to the Controller.
- Operational Awareness: Maintain continuous awareness of all operational areas under direct control.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve issues within authority scope and recommend actions for problems beyond that scope.
- Access Control: Ensure only authorized personnel access the Cage, control keys to sensitive areas, and follow credit procedures correctly.
- Manager Responsibilities: Fulfill managerial responsibilities efficiently, fairly, and objectively.
- Bank Deposits: Responsible for preparing bank deposits.
- Currency Management: Maintain currency and coin inventory.
- Credit Management: Approve credit limits and over-limit checks.
- Over/Short Tracking: Track and investigate all discrepancies.
- NSF Tracking: Monitor customers with NSF items through Central Credit and other casinos.
- Fund Accountability: Maintain accurate records of all assigned funds.
- Banking Relationships: Maintain contact with local banking communities.

Qualification Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Associate degree (A.A.) from an accredited institution or one to two years of related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Mathematical Skills: Proficient in calculating discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
- Reasoning Ability: Skilled in solving practical problems and dealing with various concrete variables where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret diverse instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
