What are the responsibilities and job description for the Print and Marketing Sales Associate position at Diane Endeavors?
Diane Endeavors is seeking a team member to grow our reach in the North Atlanta market. As a boutique print shop serving real estate agents, local businesses and the public, opportunities are endless for new customers locally and we want you to go find them and show them the 5 star Diane Endeavors experience!
We are seeking a motivated to sell individual who can think creatively about lead generation and is not afraid to go knock on some doors (figuratively). We provide the service and support and you seek out the new business, network and consult with potential new clients to sell printed materials.
What does that look like? Let us be honest, we don't completely know! Our bread and butter is the real estate industry and this will be the starting point for this position and yet, the right candidate is excited about a largely blank slate for designing a lead generation and follow up plan for customer acquisition and follow up. With that said, here are some of the strategies that may be involved:
In person prospecting to local real estate offices.
Attending local networking events.
Cold contacts to real estate agents and local businesses.
Generating sales through social media and online sources.
Ideas you come up with which lead to closed sales!
NOTE: This is not a "marketing" role. The metrics and compensation of this role are sales based.
What is there to learn?
As part of the Diane Endeavors sales experience, our team members are trained in real estate marketing to be able to coach and consult with real estate businesses at any stage in their business to help them achieve their print and marketing goals. You will learn generally about the products and services Diane Endeavors can offer to all clients, and you will learn how to listen and coach our target customers on the products they need.
What does this look like?
Our real estate clients don't always come to us and say "I need flyers", sometimes they say "I need to have a really great open house to wow my sellers!" From here, we talk them through the products we have and how the products can help them achieve their goals. Additionally, even when out clients do ask us for say "Flyers"... Most often the first question we ask is, "What is your goal with 'xyz' item" and then coach from there.
There is NOT a line of in bound inquiries waiting for this role. This is a role where you must get out, network and generate business in order to be successful and we know the business is out there. This is a rewarding role where the successful candidate makes lasting relationships with clients as you help them achieve their goals and grow their businesses. Previous candidates in this role have had clients reach out months later and say THANK YOU for believing in me and helping me launch my business!
Graphic design and print production skills may be valuable in this role however are not required and can be trained.
Metrics on this role will include:
Sales requirements.
Customer survey standards (giving a 5 star experience).
Compensation will be based on a % of new sales a smaller percentage of recurring sales. This means your income can grow as you continue to succeed.
