Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Engineer to join our small, dynamic, and close-knit team at DIANT Pharma. This is a full-time, hands-on position that offers the unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment. As an engineer, you will wear many hats and contribute to a wide range of activities, from product development and process design to troubleshooting and system optimization. You will play a critical role in advancing our proprietary technologies, ensuring the success of our manufacturing processes, and contributing to the scaling of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to support the design, implementation, and optimization of DIANT® Pharma’s manufacturing systems.
• Participate in developing and refining processes for nanoparticle (LNP) production, ensuring scalability, uniformity, and process control.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for engineering challenges and provide effective solutions.
• Contribute to the installation, maintenance, and testing of new equipment and technologies.
• Analyze data, generate reports, and provide insights to improve processes and systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all aspects of engineering work.
• Assist in scaling up production processes while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and product quality.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration, taking on a range of tasks depending on the needs of the business.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Engineering (preferably Chemical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering) OR a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, or engineering setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with nanoparticle and LNP production processes is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and independently.
• Hands-on experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and system implementation.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems, instrumentation, and quality control procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
• A passion for innovation, willingness to take initiative, and a keen interest in contributing to the growth of a startup.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with continuous manufacturing and closed-loop systems.
• Knowledge of biopharmaceutical regulations and industry standards (e.g., GMP).
• Data analysis and experience with statistical tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, R).
