As an Intern of Diasorin, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow interns, and employees through various onsite and offsite activities! You will also be able to gain industry knowledge that will aid in your professional development, while showcasing your learnings and accomplishments to Senior leaders and fellow colleagues.

The Engineering Team provides technical support for the Stillwater site. This includes providing daily hands-on troubleshooting of manufacturing problems, implementing technical solutions, leading operational excellence improvement projects, leading projects for proposing and qualifying new state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, and supporting new product launch projects. The Engineering Team impacts safety, quality, on-time delivery to customers, cost, continuous improvements, and the culture at the Stillwater site.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in supporting business operations through assigned duties under Diasorin staff supervision.
- Shadow and network with employees on cross-functional teams to gain an understanding of overall company concept including the Diasorin brand, customers, product lines/goals and all other aspects of service.
- Provides ideas to grow and improve the business. Participates in department meetings and connect points.
- Participates in designated, business-focused projects to research, propose ideas and solutions and present a final Capstone project at the end of the internship.
Additional Responsibilities and Duties
- Hands-on engineering support of production
- Participating in LEAN Events to improve efficiencies in manufacturing (OEE)
- Analyzing the setup and operating procedure for the Automated High Speed Fill Line and making improvements to reduce production downtime
- Assisting with CoBot installation
- Project work on the OEE Improvement Project for the Automated High Speed Fill Line
- Project work on the CoBot Installation Project
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in progress required. Currently enrolled in a University or College Program that is accredited. Preferred Area of Study: Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical path.
- Capable of working and communicating within a multi-site environment both independently and as part of a team. Desired qualities include: an individual with high-energy, positive attitude, desire for hands-on continuous technical learning in a collaborative environment. Experience with Technical Writing, experience with performing hands-on lab experiments or running manufacturing equipment desired. This role will be highly focused on daily hands-on activities and 100% onsite.

The hourly posting for this position is $20.00 Hourly. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
