Job Description: Litigation Paralegal

Position Overview: Diaz Anselmo & Associates, P.A. is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our team at our Naperville office. This role will be pivotal in supporting attorneys within our foreclosure litigation department.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain attorney calendars, including court deadlines, meetings, hearings, and depositions.
- Draft various legal documents such as motions, affidavits, notices, and correspondence for attorney review.
- Assist with drafting responses to discovery requests and document production.
- Organize trial exhibits and prepare trial binders.
- Prepare physical and electronic files for hearings, mediations, and depositions.
- Communicate extensively with clients, judicial clerks, and opposing counsels.
- Input and maintain case information in our case management system to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct general court research and monitor court dockets.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Illinois Rules of Civil Procedure.
- 3-4 years of experience in foreclosure litigation preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in formatting documents in Word.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and manage a caseload independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
