Summary: Responsible for learning how to and executing the management of the team members and shifts, and operating and maintaining the store to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partners with the Area District Manager to learn the policies and procedures to efficiently manage a DiBella’s restaurant.
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure excellent service from point of entry to departure, include greeting the guest, speed of order taking, food and beverage delivery, fulfillment of special requests, bill closure and invitation to return.
- Creates and maintains a positive atmosphere for guests and employees.
- Responsible for attracting and retaining restaurant employees.
- Reviews staffing levels to ensure operational needs and financial objectives are met.
- Provides training, direction, and support to maintain productivity levels.
- Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence and motivate restaurant staff.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and maintain health, safety and sanitation standards for the restaurant.
- Support food cost management with their P&L responsibility, ensuring sales are maximized, margin and profit targets are achieved, and statutory requirements are met.
- Ensure maximum revenue is achieved from all sales promotion opportunities.
- Ensures menu items are properly prepared, maintains inventory and purchases supplies.
- Analyzes operational problems, such as theft and wastage, and establishes procedures to alleviate these problems.
- Receives deliveries while ensuring freshness and conditions of products and accuracy of the orders.
- Fulfills all roles in the restaurant stations when necessary.
- Responsible for other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages up to 25 employees on various shifts. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Point of Sale Systems, Register Systems.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specialized Training:
- Two to four years of restaurant management
