Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of flooring, ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting.
- Participate in remodeling projects, helping to transform spaces according to design specifications.
- Learn to fabricate and assemble various wooden structures, including frames and fixtures.
- Support roof installation tasks, gaining knowledge of roofing materials and techniques.
- Engage in frame carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, and shaping wood components.
- Assist with fixture installation, ensuring all components are securely attached and functional.
- Help restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged materials as needed.
- Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps for improved insulation and aesthetics.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience or coursework in carpentry or construction is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic carpentry tools and equipment is a plus.
- A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to flooring installation, remodeling, fabrication, roofing, assembly, frame carpentry, fixture installation, restoration, and caulking is essential.
