What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager of Digital & E-Commerce position at DIBS Beauty?
DIBS is seeking a Manager of Digital & E-Commerce, reporting to the Vice President of Digital. This is an exciting opportunity to join a young brand in high-growth mode (including a rapid expansion in Ulta Beauty) with the ability to make your mark and strongly influence the brand’s best-in-class digital business. This role will be responsible for managing ecommerce efforts including Shopify Plus and TikTok store operations, initiatives across paid marketing and digital channels, conversion rate and performance improvement initiatives, and functionality optimization.
In addition, this person will collaborate closely with the brand marketing and influencer teams to ensure that the DIBS digital business operates at the highest and most efficient level, as well as coordinating with retail partners such as Revolve.com and Ulta.com on their respective digital needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate Digital Efforts: Assist the VP of Digital in implementing all digital efforts, including changes and efficiencies to the DIBS digital store, TikTok Shop, marketing flows, third-party channels and partnerships; lead the DIBS specialist teams, including digital coordinator, paid marketing function and customer service to achieve these ongoing objectives.
- Website Management: Oversee the design, functionality, and user experience of dibsbeauty.com. Implement ecommerce strategies and roadmap aligned with business goals, including website optimization, product merchandising and customer experience. Manage third party development agency.
- Project Management: Ensure projects are being executed on time by internal and external teams, with an eye to improving digital KPIs month-over-month; review and implement best practices across digital channels, including with respect to SEO, site speed and conversion. CRO expertise is a plus.
- Analytics & Reporting: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Assist VP of Digital in reporting as needed.
- Performance Marketing: Partner with Performance Marketing & CRM consultant to optimize our paid campaigns in partnership and external agency.
- Retention: Partner with customer service team to nurture and grow DIBS’ customer retention programs and CRM consultant. Knowledge of Klaviyo, Attentive and Gorgias a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 4 years of digital management in a consumer goods company. Recent experience in beauty is highly preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, especially with respect to spelling and grammar, ingredient lists, regulatory requirements and packaging consistency.
- Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills.
- Start-up Mentality: Self-starter with willingness to lean into difficult or unfamiliar tasks, as well as ability to travel and perform errands (e.g., mailings and gifting) on short notice.
- Comfortable with Remote Work: Ability to work quickly, take initiative, and work independently without supervision.
- Highly Self Motivated: Passionate individual with a strong sense of urgency, energy and integrity.
This job is primarily remote. The exact base salary will range between $95,000 and $110,000 and is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
