Location: Hybrid Chicago, IL 60605 (In-office 3 days per week)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled .NET Web Applications Developer to support the Client's strategic goals. This role is responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Client's .NET web applications, ensuring seamless functionality across various platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, project teams, and development teams to drive technology solutions that support the Client s mission.
Key Responsibilities
Support the ITS department in maintaining and enhancing Client's .NET web applications, including but not limited to Waitlist Portals, HCV QA/QC Tracking, and Reasonable Accommodation Portals.
Develop new .NET web applications and re-engineer existing applications to improve functionality and performance.
Engineer high-level requirements into system architecture specifications, functional specifications, and detailed designs.
Conduct and participate in code reviews for both internally developed and vendor-supplied applications.
Develop and execute test scripts to ensure application quality and performance.
Support data model development to ensure interoperability across various web applications.
Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to assess "buy-or-build" system solutions.
Participate in project meetings, communicate architecture concepts, and provide updates on development status.
Identify and mitigate technical risks related to web application development.
Work in a fast-paced, integrated team environment to develop and support enterprise applications.
Required Qualifications
Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and development on a Microsoft .NET platform.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, Web API, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and MVC with MS Visual Studio.
Experience developing three-tier applications on the .NET platform.
Hands-on experience with web accessibility and IIS web applications.
Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile application testing/certification.
Ability to diagnose and correct performance issues, with experience in creating unit and automated tests.
Preferred experience with Microsoft Active Directory (AD), AD Security, and SharePoint (2013/2016/SharePoint Online), including customization, workflow development, and reporting with SharePoint Reporting Server.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and a positive outlook.
Experience working in an Agile project framework within a team-oriented environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and execute complex instructions.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
