Join the Publix Technology Settlement Team as a Sr Software Engineer / Lead Software Engineer where you will be part of an agile team developing modern applications using various methods, tools, and technologies. You will be responsible for playing a key role interacting with enterprise teams and product management. As a technologist, you will write user stories and groom product backlog items to develop features that consider a frictionless user experience while leading the delivery of lasting contributions to Publix corporate associates.
Responsibilities :
- Leads the definition, design, configuration, coding / scripting, testing, and deployment of the most complex technical solutions across multiple disciplines under limited guidance.
- Provides hands-on technical support for the most complex components including but not limited to application platforms, cloud platforms, security tools, hardware, middleware, and networking.
- Performs on-call duties as required by the team to ensure 3rd tier support coverage for technologies within assigned discipline.
- Serves as a point of contact for highly complex technical system issues.
- Leads implementation of highly complex technical components in coordination with other technical components to provide a complete technology solution.
- Ensures highly complex technical solutions adhere to security best practices and standards.
- Leads the monitoring and tuning activities of highly complex technical systems for optimal availability and performance.
- Leads proactive system, application, infrastructure, and security maintenance and management activities of the largest and most complex components.
- Leads Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity activities and testing under minimal guidance to ensure system resiliency.
- Plans technical activities to manage personal work tasks along with tasks to be completed by others by estimating timelines and effort.
