Kforce has a client in Covington, KY that is seeking a Mid Level Engineer - Java / AWS / API.
Summary :
As a Mid Level Engineer, you will combine your software development skills with native tooling from cloud providers and enterprise tooling to help develop a cloud-centric ecosystem using groundbreaking architecture and services.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years of software development experience
- Experience working in complex architectural designs and technology initiatives
- Highly motivated teammate with strong communication and organization skills
- Experience in an agile development environment
- Hands-on experience in Test / Business Driven Development
- Application development on Public Cloud - AWS Managed Services - API Gateway, Step Function, S3, ALB, Route53, Serverless Framework / Lambda
- Front / back-end JS framework for Web Development with automation scripting - Angular, NodeJS, Express, Jest, Istanbul
- Working knowledge with Database, preferable Aurora RDS, DynamoDB
- Exposure to CI / CD pipelines integration Unit / Functional / Integration testing
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
