They are looking for a Data Engineer to join their team that would be one of their first in house Data Engineering hires. For this role you would be helping them modernize their data architecture and build out reporting tools so data is more accessible and actionable for clients in the broker space. The main tools will be Python, SQL, and a strong understanding of ETL processes.
This role will be hybrid onsite in their Wicker Park office in Chicago, IL, and will be a Full Time, Direct Hire role with the client. (3x / week onsite)
Required Skills & Experience :
- 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in Python with strong experience in building scalable applications and data workflows.
- Hands-on experience enhancing and maintaining data architecture
- Solid understanding of SQL and database optimization techniques.
- Build and maintain custom web based reporting tools to make data more accessible and actionable across the organization
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including data services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building efficient, maintainable solutions.
