DiCello Levitt, a nationally prominent, Chambers and Benchmark-rated law firm with offices nationwide, is seeking a full-time Investigative Analyst to work out of the New York City or San Diego office locations.

Role and Responsibilities
The Investigative Analyst will support attorneys and other personnel in the firm’s securities, antitrust, and complex commercial litigation practice groups. This role involves conducting, analyzing, and presenting research from corporate, financial, media, court, government, and commercial database sources.
The ideal candidate will have a working understanding of investigative techniques, accounting, financial analysis, and corporate business practices, particularly in areas related to competition, shareholder issues, and bankruptcy disputes.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conduct market and Firmspecific research.
- Analyze corporate structures, including assets, liabilities (both secured and unsecured debt), management competence, income, and expenditures, to assess a debtor's operating plans and longterm viability.
- Utilize online tools such as Bloomberg, EDGAR, Refinitiv, With Intelligence and other databases to retrieve and monitor market data, securities filings, shareholder reports, news, court documents, and other related information.
- Create or assist in the creation of tables, charts, and statistical models using Microsoft Excel and other software.
- Support marketing initiatives by aiding in the preparation of client pitches and presentations.
- Collaborate with lawyers, analysts, legal assistants, and business development personnel at all levels within the firm to produce accurate and highquality work.
- Demonstrate curiosity, initiative, and creativity.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Interest or experience in corporate finance, financial markets, bankruptcy, and restructuring practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong familiarity with internet research and news platforms.
- Superior analytical skills and attention to detail with a proactive approach to solving problems.
- Highly motivated, with strong intellectual inquisitiveness, interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills in a fastpaced environment.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree is required; degrees in Accounting, Finance, or related analytical fields are preferred, but all academic backgrounds will be considered.
- Interest or experience in accounting, finance, business, economics, and/or statistics is preferred.
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and business research is advantageous, but not required.
What DiCello Levitt Offers
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually
- Salary is dependent on experience and location.
