DiCello Levitt, a nationally prominent, Chambers and Benchmark-rated law firm with offices nationwide, is seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist in in the Chicago office location.

Position Objectives:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the Firm.
- The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to the Human Resources Director and manages the full recruiting lifecycle to find, hire, and retain quality talent.
- Develop and grow a network of relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to consider for new position openings.
- Partner with the Human Resources Director and HR team to design, develop, and implement innovative recruiting strategies.
- Stay active with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process for attorney and legal support roles.
- Collaborates with Firm management and practice group leaders to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the Firm.
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Screens applications, selects qualified candidates, and develops talent networks to find qualified active and passive candidates.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Partners with human resources staff to build and maintain longterm relationships with select key universities, professors, administration, and student organizations to develop a talent pipeline for the summer associate (internship) program.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resources staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and Firm policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or possess the ability tot quickly learn applicant tracking software or other recruitment systems; experience with Paychex Flex is a plus.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications or related software.
- Knowledge of legal industry processes is a plus, though not required.
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree beneficial, in Human Resources or related field.
- At least five (5) years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process with three (3) of those years in legal services recruiting.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Additional HR training or certifications a plus.
What DiCello Levitt Offers:
Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000 annually
- Salary is dependent on experience and location.
