Job Description
DiCicco, Gulman and Company (DGC) is looking for a spirited individual who thinks like an owner and is invested in DGCs growth. This role requires a creative marketing and communications mindset, most importantly being able to think about ways to create interesting thought leadership and engage in the marketplace. This position works collaboratively with the firm’s management, and its partners and principals to achieve the firm’s goals as outlined in the marketing and strategic plans.
Qualifications
Responsibilities of the position include:
Mentor, and grow marketing team members, currently Marketing Specialist and Marketing Assistant
DGC’s marketing and brand strategy
- Plan development and execution
- Development and execution of firm’s marketing plan and budget
Manage the Firm’s Sales and Niche Pipeline efforts through the:
- Active participation in marketing events Development of campaigns for Niche efforts
- Tracking of pipeline, wins and losses
- Creative creation of proposals and sales presentations
- Writing sales-related material and additional pieces as needed
Enhancing the firm’s brand by:
- Ensuring execution of the firm’s brand and social media strategy
- Planning and implementing marketing campaigns
- Contribution to the firm’s e-newsletter and ghost-writing articles
- Overseeing special events like seminars, networking events and speaking opportunities
The ideal candidate will be a team player who is willing to learn about DGC, its services and its clients as well as engage in strategic thinking and tactical work as business needs dictate. S/he will demonstrate initiative, is self-driven and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced business. Additional qualifications and requirements include:
- BA/BS in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or related field.
- Demonstrated leadership in a related professional service environment.
- Stellar writing skills, particularly persuasive writing.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Leadership and managerial skills.
- Training and knowledge of the Sandler Sales System a plus.
- Ability to think outside the box and be fearless while maintaining professionalism.
