- Develop budgets, marketing, and strategic plans for all stations, focusing on improving profitability, ratings, revenue, and expense control.
- Regularly meet with prospective and current clients to develop and maintain sales relationships.
- Be responsible for the market's overall financial performance and revenue / expense projections.
- Develop new business in selected markets and geographic locations.
- Oversee daily operations, including financial performance, programming, sales, technical aspects, human resources, and business administration.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and mentor department heads and the sales team.
- Prepare and execute annual operating and capital expense budgets, including strategic action plans and programming calendars.
- Actively manage multiple client accounts, including direct and agency-based clients.
- Resolve inter-department conflicts and HR issues involving direct reports.
- Ensure stations comply with all FCC regulations to protect station(s) FCC license(s).
