Dick Broadcasting Company Inc. is now hiring a Media Sales Professional in the Myrtle Beach market. The Media Sales Professional must be able to effectively identify and create solutions to help local and national business thrive in this environment. Grow advertising revenue through both “traditional” and “non-traditional” media and must effectively communicate with clients and staff. Someone who is well-organized and has a deep understanding of prospecting, appointment setting, and developing strong relationships with customers. Must be able to manage his/her own time and use their time effectively to maximize results.
Media Sales Professional:
o Manage digital sales
o Manage Radio sales
o Proven Sales Record, Time Management, and Presentation Skills with Technical expertise and confidence in online, mobile, social media, and computer skills
o Ability to effectively collaborate with clients, promotions, and on-air team.
o Ability to plan, strategize, sale, execute, and deliver results.
o Develop and deliver sales presentations in live settings
o Must travel to client and prospects locations in order to win and/or support accounts.
o Follow up on all self-generated and company-generated contacts in an organized and effective fashion.
o Regularly meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
o Prepare for and attend weekly 1:1 and weekly sales meetings.
o Be willing to learn and excel.
