Essential Duties :

Design and implement full-cycle training and development strategies in terms of policies, procedures, goals, and objectives

Develop and align training programs with the company’s culture and core values to reinforce a strong, mission-driven environment across all departments, ensuring consistency in leadership, customer service, and operational excellence

Design leadership development initiatives with a train-the-trainer focus

Manage skills training for individuals and groups to ensure scalable operational efficiency

Work collaboratively with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand training needs and develop appropriate training materials and methods of delivery.

Identify gaps in skills and competencies, determine training needs, and prepare training plans for the operations teams

Responsible for managing the overall performance of new and ongoing development initiatives and training programs and providing regular analysis to management

Stay up-to-date with the latest training technologies and trends to design more effective and engaging programs.

Acts as the contributing team member in organizational change management projects

Lead, mentor, and develop the Training and Development team

Design and implement mechanisms for tracking and measuring the ROI of training programs to ensure they contribute to key business outcome

Other Duties & Responsibilities

Participate in ad-hoc special projects, developmental opportunities, and other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications :

Five years of leadership experience in a learning and development role

Demonstrated experience creating outcome-focused train-the-trainer initiatives

Demonstrated experience in a related industry designing training programs for entry-level workers

Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite

Key Competencies :

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to build strong relationships inside and outside of the organization

Excellent project management skills : organized, resourceful, excellent follow-through, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize

Must demonstrate initiative to assess and resolve issues proactively

High level of integrity in approach and action

Ability to thrive in a continually improving and growing environment with ownership of processes from beginning to completion

The work is typically performed in an office or restaurant environment with a moderate noise level.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms to type. The employee must regularly talk or hear on the telephone and in person with individuals and groups. The employee must rarely lift and / or move up to 20 pounds. Extensive keyboard typing is required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, extensive computer screen work, and the ability to adjust focus to produce or review reports.

This position requires frequent local travel.
