Job Duties & Responsibilities
Partnership, Sponsorship and Activation Planning
- Build and nurture impactful community partnerships that align with House of Sport's brand pillars : assortment, experience, service, and community.
- Support local partners with sponsorship initiatives that generate awareness, engagement, traffic, and sales.
- Manage and track sponsorship agreements and asset distribution using designated software.
- Ensure the effective implementation of sponsorship deliverables to maximize return on investment.
- Create innovative strategies for in-store events and market activations that align with key brand moments.
- Oversee local marketing budgets and related expenses responsibly.
Local Marketing Capabilities
Develop and implement outreach strategies to boost brand awareness and customer acquisition.Provide insightful market intelligence to guide future strategies.Assist in crafting event materials for store displays and on the Gametime scheduling platform.Manage customer outreach through the reservations scheduling tool.Event / Program Execution
Facilitate the execution of all House of Sport marketing activities and vendor events.Act as a liaison between House of Sport, CSC, and external partners to ensure top-tier execution of programs from concept to completion.Capture content during events to showcase on national social media channels and other owned platforms.Assess each event qualitatively and quantitatively, reporting learnings and recommending enhancements for future success.Donations and Giving
Act as the local representative for The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation, engaging in community giving and charitable efforts.Utilize The DICK'S Sporting Foundation to positively impact the local community through equipment donations, grants, and programming.Evaluate and fulfill local donation requests from community organizations and teams.Miscellaneous
Exhibit professionalism and excellence in all aspects of your work, serving as a representative of the House of Sport brand.Maintain seamless communication and collaboration across teams.Establish relationships with vendors, sales representatives, and service organizations involved with our company.Be an approved media-trained associate, capable of engaging with media on behalf of DICK'S as necessary.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or Communications.1-3 years of relevant experience in marketing, brand ambassadorship, or retail.A valid driver's license is required.Must successfully pass a comprehensive background and motor vehicle check.Exceptional interpersonal and team-building skills are essential.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays; some travel within the territory is expected.Based on the location of the House of Sport, you may be asked to submit necessary state-mandated clearances to supervise minors.
