OVERVIEW :
DICK'S Sporting Goods is looking for a dynamic and people-centric leader to manage store operations.
The Retail Operations Leader will focus on supporting their team, customers, and the local community. This role is accountable for enhancing business performance and achieving operational objectives while prioritizing team coaching and development to ensure a seamless shopping experience for all customers.
Participate actively in the recruitment and hiring process to build a diverse, skilled store team.
Drive sales and profitability through improved customer satisfaction and data analysis to identify consumer and business trends; oversee expenses and workforce budget effectively.
Ensure visual merchandising standards are upheld, and the store remains clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff.
Foster community engagement and build strong relationships with local leaders.
Manage shrinkage through adherence to safety protocols, loss prevention guidelines, and cash handling procedures.
Lead the team with a people-first approach, promoting trust, active listening, and dedicated support.
Encourage continuous learning and development in day-to-day leadership.
Create a welcoming and respectful store environment for all teammates and customers, ensuring everyone feels safe.
QUALIFICATIONS :
3 years of experience as a Retail Store Manager or 5 years in a similar management / customer-focused role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Exceptional people management abilities with a talent development focus.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Targeted Pay Range : $113,100.00 - $170,000.00. This role includes a competitive total rewards package, which may comprise incentives, equity, and benefits. Individual pay is evaluated based on various factors, such as experience, location, internal pay equity, and other business considerations. We routinely review teammate compensation to maintain competitive and fair pay. DICK'S Sporting Goods also complies with state paid leave requirements and offers a generous benefits package.
