OVERVIEW:
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Workload Forecasting
Partner closely with teams throughout store operations to understand both the operational aspects as well as the data availability and integrity of all store workload activities
Build and maintain a central repository of all workload activities that is easily accessible and digestible to key stakeholder groups
Create accurate by-store forecasts of all workload drivers, enabling our stores to better understand, plan, and schedule this crucial work
Develop methods to continually update forecasts, understanding both the labor and financial impact of changes to original budgets
Workload Visibility and Planning
Improve how our stores view and interact with workload drivers. Partner with technology teams to build workload visibility into current store processes enabling improved planning and execution
Assist in developing long and short term calendars for store activities. From 12 month outlooks, to quarterly playbooks, to weekly priorities, ensure all workload is accurately captured and displayed
Further, collaborate closely with teams across operations to understand the intersection of workload and how it impacts the store through capacity and impact modeling
Work cross-functionally using data and planning calendars with a focus on avoiding workload conflicts and making sure we do not exceed store labor capacity
Scheduling and Execution
Develop tools, processes, and plans to guide stores in scheduling store workload. Starting with self-developed tools (e.g. excel templates) as proof-of-concept, quickly move to Technology enabled automated processes.
Partner closely with Technology, Labor Planning, and other teams to build automated solutions to schedule the right teammate, for the right workload activity, at the right time.
Create methods to understand execution of store workload– help determine operational KPIs with a focus on outliers and methods to address
Using database tools (e.g. GCP), process automation tools (e.g. Alteryx), and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI), create actionable, on-demand insights from our wealth of store and workload data.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Project Management
1-3 years experience in data structures, data visualizations, process automation tools
Data visualization tools (Qlik, Power BI, etc.)
Process Automation tools (Alteryx)
